Church Ministry

Spreading  the message of Christ

The church was established by faith in God alone with just a few believers and in response to a vision given to Pastor Mei. It aspired to be a Great Commission Church, a light for Christ in Myanmar. The first meeting was held with only Pastor Mei's family in a rented house. Slowly and steadily, with the evangelism, a few dedicated people joined the group. Despite all the challenges, God has been faithful and gracious! Our prayer is to remain faithful to Him and continue growing in faith.

Our Story

When God gave a vision to plant a church to Pastor Mei, he just followed by faith. From its humble beginnings in a rented house, the church has faced numerous challenges, yet Pastor Mei Kor remained unwavering in his commitment to serve God. The decision to worship in a rented space, particularly in homes belonging to non-believers deeply rooted in Buddhism, has proven to be a formidable test of faith.

The challenges are multifaceted, ranging from limitations imposed by landlords on the size of gatherings to restrictions on worship and social activities. Despite these obstacles, Pastor Mei and his congregation persevered, compelled by their unwavering faith to overcome the hurdles presented by the circumstances. Moving from one location to another has become a routine as they strive to find a stable gathering place.

The absence of a consistent meeting place has not deterred the believers, but it has posed difficulties in maintaining a cohesive community. The transient nature of their gatherings has led some believers to revert to their traditional practices, worshipping idols and forsaking the newly embraced faith. Pastor Mei diligently followed up with these individuals, understanding that their spiritual journey hinges on the challenges encountered in the realm of home worship.

In the midst of adversity, the church community was not alone. It included believers from Bible schools, as well as other converted individuals who provide support and strength. God's guidance has been evident, allowing the church to navigate through the challenges with resilience and steadfastness. Despite the lack of a stable physical home, the spiritual home they have built together transcends the physical constraints, enabling them to run the race set before them with endurance and unwavering faith.

Therefore, our vision is to work hard on our call in planting church and our mission is to fulfill the Lord’s command. We are seeking a primary church partner to collaborate with us in this effort. If you feel called to preach in Asia, we invite you to consider partnering with us.

Pastor Mei Kor traveled to regional areas and to remote villages to preach the Word of God at various churches. We firmly believe that collaborating and building fellowship with other churches will enhance our outreach and engagement for His Kingdom.

We are seeking a primary church to support us. If your church is willing to adopt us as a sending church, we are open to be your daughter church. Our vision is enable to reach out more for Him alone. We pray to plant five churches in rural areas of Yangon. Our church ministry is home-based, and we either worship at home or occasionally fellowship with other churches. We desire to have our own church space where we can freely conduct our programs.
