Church Ministry

Sharing  the message of Christ

Home service

We are a home-based church dedicated to the Lord’s call on our lives. We have conducted the service with our kids and a few believers. We have two goals to reach out to the lost: The Lost Souls who have never known Christ, and The Lost Sheep who once were in church but have lost their relationship with Christ. There are many lost souls to evangelize, and many lost sheep to restore. As a home-based church without a dedicated worship building, we face challenges, but despite all the challenges, God has been faithful and gracious! Our prayer is to remain faithful to Him and continue growing in faith together.

Our Story

We initially had service in a rented space, particularly in homes belonging to non-believers deeply rooted in Buddhism, which has proven to be a formidable test of faith. From its humble beginnings in a rented house, the church has faced numerous challenges, yet we remained unwavering in our commitment to the Lord. The challenges are multifaceted, from the size of gatherings to restrictions on social activities. Moving from one location to another has become a routine as we strive to find a stable gathering place.

After the military imposed a conscription law requiring all males aged 18–35 (eligible up to 45 years old) to serve, our rented area was greatly affected by the law, and some young men from our neighbors were taken. We are required to report the family member list to the administrative department every 10 days. On January 10, 2025, the village administration announced that all families must submit a copy of their list to the military, and that night, some young men were taken by force and their mothers were left in tears. On January 12, 2025, next to our rented home, our neighbor’s son, aged 22 years old, was taken forcefully at midnight, and his father died from shock.

When we learned all the risks of living there, we rapidly tried to shift to another location. We could not urgently find a rental home in a lower-risk area. Our situation now requires us to leave our current place as soon as possible. We found an urban village where there is an open field to settle, but to relocate to this urban village, we need to own land there. As we don’t have any other option in our current situation, we spent all our emergency savings and borrowed 18,000,000 MMK (equal to $4,000) from others to buy a piece of land. In short, we urgently built a bamboo home and moved there completely on February 25, 2025. We now stay in a remote open field—the pictures are below—and have home services along with the four orphans and those who are able to join us—just a few believers.

Therefore, our vision is to work hard on our call in planting a church, and our mission is to fulfill the Lord’s command. We are seeking a primary church partner to collaborate with us in this effort. If you feel called to preach in Asia, we invite you to consider partnering with us.

Partner with us

We are seeking a primary church to support us. If your church is willing to adopt us as a sending church, we are open to be your daughter church. Our vision is enable to reach out more for Him alone. We pray to plant five churches in rural areas of Yangon. Our church ministry is home-based, and we either worship at home or occasionally fellowship with other churches.

Please join us in prayer to spread the good news of Jesus across Myanmar from our church.
