Pastor Mei family

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Welcome to our ministry, and we are dedicated to spreading the love and teachings of Jesus Christ. It is with great humility and gratitude that I testify to the transformative power of Jesus. My own life was changed by his powerful message, and I am excited to share the joy and peace that come after encounter with Christ.

God has blessed me with a beautiful wife, Sen Mar, and two daughters; Deborah and Hannah. The Lord called me to serve Him in specific ministries from a small rural village of 10 houses where I was born. We lived on the hill in Chin State of Myanmar. The forefathers practiced animism and believed in devils, worshiping objects such as stones, mountains, rocks, trees, and even sacrificing animals to them. After a missionary came to the village I converted to Christianity.

The government didn’t provide a school for a small village, but the missionary took it upon himself to teach us. This was a rare opportunity to study in my own village, as most people were illiterate due to the absence of a school. Additionally, there was no Sunday School class in my church. I lived a normal life only attending church. At the age of 19, I received salvation, and subsequently, received my calling from God.

I joined a Bible college and have been serving full-time in ministry since 2014 as a church assistant. I pursued further studies for my M.Div. and reentered ministry as an associate pastor in 2018. I have a strong desire to reach out to people in need of Jesus, education, and community development. Christianity has transformed our entire community from darkness to light opening our hearts. Jesus has given us a future, hope, and a clear vision.

The Lord gave me a clear vision from Revelation 21:6, the lifewater of Jesus, to provide freely to those who are thirsty. I serve as a missionary pastor and reside in Yangon, though not precisely in the downtown area. Instead, we live in a remote corner of Yangon, situated in a rural village. Myanmar is considered an underdeveloped country. Following the military coup on February 1, 2021, the value of the Myanmar currency plummeted. This has led to a significant rise in the cost of living, making it increasingly challenging for people who reside in more remote areas to rely on rental housing.

As the Lord said, "Write down this vision and clearly inscribe it on tablets, so that a herald may run with it." The vision the Lord gave me is indeed very vast, beyond my own imagination. I believe in what is written: "For the vision is yet for the appointed time…Though it delays, wait for it; For it will certainly come, it will not delay long" (Habakkuk 2:2-3). These specific visions of ministries to be started by faith are: (1) church ministry, (2) outreach ministry, (3) children's ministry, (4) Sunday school ministry, (5) literature ministry, (6) preschool ministry, (7) medical ministry, and (8) community development projects. I am open to any organizations adopting your name for a specific ministry to which you feel called to serve.

In these times, I humbly ask for your support through donations to ensure the smooth running of our ministry. Your contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful impact on our ability to continue our mission. If God speaks to you to take part in the ministry of Myanmar, please feel free to write me via my email: mkmeikor@gmail.com.

May the Lord bless your every endeavor!

In His Service,

Pastor Mei
